Clinic Registered Nurse; Senior

Position Overview

The Family Health Services Clinics of the Health and Social Services Department is currently recruiting for a Clinic Registered Nurse Senior.

• Coordinate the operational activities of public health clinics
• Provide nursing services in a clinical environment
• Provide general administrative support to clinic operations
• Assist in oversight, consultation, education, evaluation, and quality improvement assessment of trauma care
• Supervise employees, including lower level medical personnel, peer counselors, clerical staff, and student interns

• Three years of clinical nursing experience, including responsibility for clinic operations and oversight of others
• Associate’s degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited college with a major in nursing, or a nursing diploma from an accredited nursing program

• Valid Registered Nurse license issued by the California State Board of Registered Nursing
• Current Adult, Child, and Infant CPR Certificate
• Valid California Driver's License, Class C (may be required)
