Job DescriptionWe are seeking Registered Nurses with ultrasound‑guided IV experience for full‑time positions. PICC line training will be provided; prior PICC experience is not required. Opportunities are also available for experienced PICC RNs (per diem or full‑time).
Eligible for a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time employment, based on prior vascular access experience.
Responsibilities- Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
- Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
- Assist with management of PICCs and vascular access devices.
- Provide a wide range of vascular access support services, including port access, line removal, declotting, etc.
- Educate facility nursing staff regarding PICCs, midlines and other CVADs.
Consultants visit patients at various customer facilities and must be willing to travel. Full‑time scheduling includes three to four days per week, including weekends, and participation in a holiday rotation. Per diem scheduling requires a minimum of four scheduled shifts per month, including weekends, and participation in the holiday rotation.
Training and Experience Requirements- Ideal candidates have experience in ultrasound‑guided IV placements and vascular access device insertions.
- Training is available in some locations for candidates with recent, consistent USGIV placement experience.
- Priority is given to fully trained vascular access nurses, but additional training is available for those with strong USGIV skills.
- Registered Nurse with a current license.
- American Heart BLS certification.
- Experience in vascular access device management, including care, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience placing ultrasound‑guided IVs.
- Ability to work independently and meet scheduling requirements.
- Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation for travel to patient sites.
- Must possess a smart phone.
- Must LOVE vascular access!
- Minimum of three years of acute‑care RN experience.
- Experience placing PICCs, midlines, or other vascular access devices using ultrasound.
- Prior vascular access or PICC experience preferred.
Hourly pay range: $50 USD – $70 USD.
