About Marathon Health
Marathon Health is a leading advanced primary care provider, partnering with employer and union plan sponsors to improve health for millions of Americans. With nationwide onsite, nearsite, and network health centers, and virtual primary care, Marathon delivers a value-based model that enhances the healthcare experience for members and providers, while driving meaningful cost savings for plan sponsors.
Marathon is proud to be certified as a Great Place to Work®, reflecting the company's commitment to building an inclusive, high-trust culture where all employees can thrive.
We normalize balance, not burnout. Smaller patient panel size, more time with your patients (appointments range from 20 to 60 minutes), strong focus on prevention and wellness, acute and chronic disease management, fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks. Success is measured by health outcomes, not patient volume and billing (not a fee‑for‑service model).
Day in the LifeAs a Marathon Health provider you practice relationship‑based medicine at the top of your license. You offer holistic care including prevention, chronic disease management, and health education to your patients. You’ll have great resources (like Up To Date and RubiconMD) at your fingertips, free of charge to you and your patients. You work autonomously with a company that puts patients first and values ingenuity, courage, community, and fun.
