Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and high-quality nursing care in alignment with the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Nursing. Utilizing Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, Relationship-Based Care, and North Bay’s professional nursing practice model, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients. The RN collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote, maintain, and restore health.
Care is tailored to meet the physiological, developmental, and psychosocial needs of patients. The RN demonstrates competency by applying scientific knowledge from social, biological, and physical sciences to the nursing process.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of three (3) years of acute care experience.
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing.
• Associate Degree or BSN accepted.
• Active CA RN License.
• AHA BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
