Position Overview:

As a Quality Technician
, you will be a member of the Quality Assurance Team, reporting to a Quality Supervisor (or Manager—depending on plant). You will contribute to the success of Ball by inspecting in-process or finished products for quality; based on Ball internal specifications and will advise production on results.

The Fairfiled plant is a high-volume, fast-paced 24/7-365 days/year manufacturing environment. Our crews work 12 1/4
-hour shifts (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) working 4 days on 4 days off and rotating from day to night shift every 7 weeks.

Key Responsibilities Include :

Follow all job safety practices and policies including but not limitedto:food safety; personal protective equipment;emergency procedures, etc.

Performtroubleshooting and preventative maintenance on inspection equipment, as needed.

Routinely use measuring tools(such as:calliper gauges,micrometres).

Adviseproduction when inspection results do not meet customer specifications.

Maintain a safe and clean workspace according to 5

Sstandards.

Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.

Required

Experience and Skills:

High School Diploma or education equivalent required.

Minimum one (1) year of experience in a production/manufacturing role.

Experiencemaintainingproduction or quality control equipment.

Proficiency with computer applications (such as: Microsoft: Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong attention to detail and experience reviewing and understanding graphs and trends.

Must be able to matchcolors.

Demonstrated ability toprovideclear and concise communication (verbal and written) in arespectfulmanner to all levels of personnel.

Preferred

Experience and Skills:

1+ years of experience as aQuality Technician in a manufacturing environment.

Experience working with depth gauges, dial callipers, and/or automated gauges.

Physical Environment &

Working Conditions:

May be subject toall ofthe following, but not limited to:

Hot/Cold working conditions.

Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.

Climbing (stairs, and other equipment as necessary).

• Expected Hiring Salary Range:$32.40/hr
• This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
