* Job Summary:

** The Meat Clerk is responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service, maintaining the meat department's presentation, and assisting with inventory and stocking.
** Essential Functions of the Position:
*** Greet and assist customers in selecting meat products.
* Prepare ground meat using a meat grinder.
* Package and label meat products.
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the meat department.
* Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness.
* Assist with inventory counts and ordering supplies.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
** Knowledge:
*** Basic understanding of meat products and cuts.
* Familiarity with retail stocking procedures and inventory management.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling.
