Job Summary

Assistant Retail Photo Operations Manager – Magic Memories on the iconic attraction, Jelly Belly! The role is based in Fairfield, CA.

Position:
Assistant Retail Photo Operations Manager Starting rate: $18.90 per hour Paid training available. Opportunity for growth and advancement.

• Shifts available any day(s) of the week and weekends during operating hours.
• Flexible schedule.

• Greet guests and create Magic Memories by providing world‑class service.
• Assist in leading a retail team to achieve sales goals.
• Assist with running all operational aspects of a high‑volume souvenir photography retail operation.
• Act as lead manager in the absence of the Retail Photography Manager.
• Provide floor supervision and administrative duties, ensuring the team focuses on guest service and sales goals.
• Develop, train, and motivate staff to achieve desired guest service and financial results.
• Ensure excellent customer service by responding to guest requests, expectations, and needs.
• Engage with guests from around the world.
• Take photos and provide guests with a memorable experience and souvenirs.
• Learn how to capture, and create memories that make people smile.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1‑year people‑management experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of previous guest service experience preferred but not required (hospitality, food & beverage, or retail).
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to support teams, develop culture, coach, and manage performance.
• Ability and drive to assist in a hands‑on role, with a track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs in a busy retail environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers, management, and cross‑functional team members.
• Professional communication skills and appearance.
• Ability to support operations seven days a week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Background check required.
• Experience in digital photography a plus.
