Behavioral Coach

Responsible for carrying out elements of the treatment plan and the provision of behavioral coaching to reduce crisis incidents. Most tasks are carried out in the community, especially in family homes. This is an at-will direct service position within a program. The position is responsible for assisting and advocating for our members in all areas of treatment and coaching our members to reduce crisis incidents.

Essential duties and responsibilities include working in partnership with parents who are treated as experts concerning their families, helping to conduct strength/needs assessments, assisting with interdisciplinary team meetings, completing tasks associated with the START Model, coordinating care as needed, enlisting the involvement of community resources to support the family, keeping the START Coordinator and supervisors informed of significant treatment or care coordination issues, providing prompt intervention in the event of a crisis, providing support to other staff members and program members as needed, and meeting and maintaining service productivity standards.

Licenses, certificates, and special requirements include a California driver's license & current vehicle insurance/registration, reliable means of transportation, a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
