COMPENSATION
This position pays within a range of $23.00 – $25.56 per hour, as an hourly non-exempt employee, paid weekly. We also offer a wide range of benefits, including vacation, sick pay, holiday pay, health insurance benefits, and 401k.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs all duties related with warehousing, shipping and receiving, and inventory control,
Including but not limited to:
Performs function of order preparation including picking items and/or cases out of stock according to pick list; palletizing cases, marking cases, wrapping pallets with pallet wrapping equipment, marking pallets, and placing pallets in designated area for shipping.
Familiarization and performance of all UPS functions including assembly of cases, case consolidation, marking cases, proper UPS documentation, palletizing of cases, minor clerical duties, and distinguishing type of shipping method required per order.
Performs the proper loading and unloading of truck trailers.
Performs the safe operation of electric pallet jack and power lift equipment including specialized.
Performs warehousing function of transferring product from packaging to warehouse, also rotates, arranges, and organizes stock.
Must be able to accurately and speedily follow written directions in, in English.
Assists in the preparation and maintenance of documentation concerning all aspects of warehousing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
Inherent in each position is a general duty to maintain each respective work area in a safe and sanitary condition. The employee may be required to perform other duties within the scope of their employment as may be assigned. Regular, predictable, full-time attendance is required as an essential function of this position. Wages, hours, and working conditions are outlined in a Collective Bargaining Agreement between Jelly Belly Candy Company and Bakery, Confectionary, Tobacco Workers & Grain millers International Union, AFL‑CIO, Local #125.
Overtime as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement is mandatory. An essential function of this job is a requirement to work all hours scheduled.
Perform proper picking and loading of intra company D.O.’s. Must be able to receive P.O.’s and run proper receiving reports. Use e-mail and process RMA’s.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo supervisory responsibilities exist in this position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); three (3) to five (5) years prior related work experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and or diagram form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSCompany issued qualified lift operator stickers.
