** Position Summary
** The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying inventory, and maintaining organized operations. This role ensures timely, accurate order fulfillment and smooth day-to-day flow of parts and equipment through the warehouse.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
* Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
* Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
* Enter and update inventory records in the warehouse management or ERP system.
* Label, organize, and store parts and equipment in designated warehouse locations.
* Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries.
* Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork when applicable.
* Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
* Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and shipping area.
* Communicate with sales, purchasing, and service teams regarding order status and shipment timing.
* Follow all safety protocols and procedures for material handling and equipment operation.
* Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
** Qualifications/Experience
**
* Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Experience:

1–2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory-related role preferred.
* Technical

Skills:

Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems; basic computer and data entry skills.
* Knowledge:
Understanding of shipping/receiving processes, packaging standards, and safety regulations (OSHA).
* Other:
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Forklift certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
* Experience with ERP or warehouse management software.
** Physical Requirements / Work Environment
*** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
* Warehouse environment, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods, with exposure to varying temperatures and noise.
** Travel and Schedule Expectations
*** Minimal to no travel required.
* Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime based on business needs.## Qualifications
