Fairfield, CT (Onsite / Hybrid Flexibility)

Salary: $95k - $120k+ DOE + Annual Performance Bonuses

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engagement Leadership:
    Lead and manage multiple audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning to completion.
  • Staff Mentorship:
    Supervise, train, and review the work of Audit Staff, providing constructive feedback to foster their professional growth.
  • Technical Excellence:
    Prepare and review complex financial statements and work papers in accordance with GAAP.
  • Client Advocacy:
    Act as the primary field contact for clients, resolving issues and providing value-add recommendations on internal controls and business processes.
  • Project Management:
    Ensure all engagements are delivered on time and within budget, managing timelines across various concurrent projects.

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Experience:

    3-5 years of progressive audit experience in public accounting.
  • Education:

    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Master's preferred).
  • Technical Savvy:
    Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and modern audit software (e.g., CCH Pro System fx, Case Ware).
  • Leadership:
    Proven ability to lead "in-charge" engagements and supervise junior team members.
  • Communication:
    Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
