Dental Assistant

Our office, Fairfield County Implants & Periodontics in Fairfield, CT is seeking a talented Dental Assistant to join our busy specialty practice.

We are looking for a dedicated and personable Dental Assistant. Prior dental assisting experience is preferred, but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate who is motivated to learn and grow.

• Welcoming patients to the dental office
• Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring their comfort
• Setting up instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Sterilizing instruments according to regulations
• Assisting the dentist through four-handed dentistry
• Providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keeping the dental room organized and well-stocked
• Maintaining accurate patient records

As an essential member of our office, you will also help facilitate and coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.

Monday-Friday (4-day work week) 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. Office is closed Saturday and Sunday—no weekend work.

You are a resourceful dental assistant who loves helping patients receive the experience they deserve and supporting the Dentist in providing it. You’re kind, passionate, collaborative, and able to proactively adjust to shifting priorities.

• Must live within 25 miles of the office

• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks

• Well-organized and reliable
• A high school diploma
• Core values of integrity, servant-heartedness, passion for education and health
• A certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law)
• An active state radiology license (if required by law)

Position Base Pay Range: $23 – $30 USD
