A Child's Garden is seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Assistant Teacher & Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will provide nurturing care and engaging educational experiences for infants and toddlers, ensuring a safe, loving, and stimulating environment. As a floater, you will also support various classrooms as needed, bringing flexibility and enthusiasm to our dynamic team.
Both positions are full time, working 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities- Provide attentive, compassionate care to infants and toddlers, supporting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs
- Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and age-appropriate activities
- Create a safe and engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity and learning through play
- Support classroom management by maintaining organized spaces and encouraging positive behavior
- Collaborate with lead teachers to implement curriculum plans aligned with childhood development standards
- Float between classrooms as needed, providing consistent care and support across different age groups
- Follow all health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary
- Able to sit, bend and lift up to 40lbs.
- Prior experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children in daycare or preschool settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Ability to handle caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, and supervising active children
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families
At least 1 year experience working in a daycare center with Infant/Toddlers.
