As an MEC Math Corps Interventionist you’ll help kids develop basic math and problem-solving skills using evidence-based, scripted interventions. As an interventionist, you’ll help struggling students in 4-8 improve their skills and get on track with math. No experience? No problem. With great training and onsite coaching, we’ll prepare you to work with pairs of students to build fundamental math skills and confidence.

Monday – Friday, during the school day. Position starts late August 2026 and end late May 2027 (part time positions may also be available).

• Must be 18 years of age or older by your start date.
• Must have at least a high school diploma or recognized equivalent by your start date.
• Must be either a citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident alien of the United States.
• Must pass mandatory pre-service background checks.
• Must not have served 4 or more prior terms of service with Ameri Corps State or National.
