EXPERIENCE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Skills You’ll Need:

• Comfort and confidence in the water
• Willingness to learn new skills – we’ll train and certify you in lifeguarding!
• Prior experience working with children
• Organization and communication skills

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work under the direction of our experienced Waterfront Director, as part of our lifeguard/boating team
• Supervise swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and other lake activities
• Ensure a safe environment for campers enjoying the water
• Help campers build confidence and learn new skills
• Play a key role in balancing our arts focus with classic camp fun. Enjoying the waterfront is also an essential part of the Berkshire Lake experience!
• When not teaching, you’ll be assigned to an age group of girls to look after and care for
