Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School is looking for a Business Teacher. The HS Business Teacher is responsible for HS Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs to provide high school students with meaningful, hands-on career training across multiple pathways. We are seeking dynamic, innovative educators who are passionate about preparing students for success in college, careers, and life in the following areas:
- Computer Applications
- Business Education
- Consumer Education
- Workforce Education
- Cooperative Education (Co-op)
Qualifications include a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate CTE, work study and business endorsement(s) or eligibility to obtain. Capable to adapt and grow curriculum and courses as student interest changes and keep current with the CTE business world. Comfortable using a variety of technologies in the classroom. Must have the ability to communicate successfully with parents, co-workers, and administration.
