After-School Cheer Instructor

After-School Youth Cheer Instructor (Program Coach) —

Northern Virginia (Centreville, Arlington)

We’re looking for energetic, youth cheer instructors who enjoy working with kids! You’ll help children build confidence and learn the basics of various entry level cheer in a fun, positive environment.
Classes will begin after Labor Day this fall.

• Experience working with children
• Comfort in an athletic or recreational setting
• Basic knowledge of cheerleading (we provide curriculum and training)
• Punctuality, professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm
• Reliable transportation to and from school sites (no mileage reimbursement)
• Availability between 2:45 PM – 5:00 PM on weekdays (most classes are 60 minutes within this timeframe)

• Lead or assist after-school youth cheer classes at local elementary schools
• Run high-energy sessions focused on fun, teamwork, and skill-building
• Manage and transport your assigned equipment bag
• Engage kids in elementary school grades K-6th
• Ensure every child is safely dismissed before leaving

• Starting pay: $20–$25/hour based on experience
• Top rate of $30/hour for returning, experienced coaches
• Part-time, typically 1-3 days per week
• Classes have 10–20 kids
• Mandatory training

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week

• Background check and fingerprinting will be mandatory
