Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a bilingual (Spanish) School Psychologist in a Connecticut school setting for the  academic year! This contract role offers the chance to work with a diverse student population across all grade levels, fostering their emotional, social, and academic development.

The assignment is scheduled from August 24, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 30 to 32.5 hours. You'll be on-site as a valued member of the school community, collaborating with educators, staff, and families to positively impact students' well-being and success.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • Valid Connecticut Educator Certification required
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential
  • Proven experience as a School Psychologist in K-12 education settings
  • Ability to work flexibly across various grade levels and caseloads
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Capable of conducting assessments, creating intervention plans, and providing direct counseling or consultation
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments as needed
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education and behavior plans
  • Consult with teachers and families to support student learning goals
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling to students as required
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress
