Mathematics Teacher, Fairfield Prep

Fairfield College Preparatory School is an all‑boys Jesuit, Catholic high school located on the campus of Fairfield University. We are seeking a full‑time Math Teacher who is energetic, passionate, and dedicated to forming young men of intellectual competence and justice.

• Teach five sections of Math.
• Participate in an Ignatian Educator Formation program.
• Work collaboratively with members of the Mathematics department and attend all department and faculty meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Assist in the extracurricular and spiritual life of the school community.
• Commit to developing young men to become intellectually competent, religious, loving, committed to doing justice, and open to growth.
• Teach students in a 1:1 setting with iPads.
• Perform such other duties, responsibilities, and activities as required by supervisor and as departmental/University needs indicate.

• Experience teaching in a high school setting.
• Familiarity with Jesuit ideals.
• At least a BA in Math and/or Secondary Education; an MA is preferred.
