English Teacher, Fairfield Prep

Position

Fairfield College Preparatory School is seeking an energetic and passionate educator for a full‑time English Teacher position.

• Teach five sections of English.
• Participate in the Ignatian Educator Formation program.
• Work collaboratively with English Department members and attend all department and faculty meetings, as well as professional development opportunities.
• Assist in the extracurricular and spiritual life of the school community.
• Commit to developing young men to become intellectually competent, religious, loving, and open to growth.
• Teach students in a 1:1 setting with iPads.

• Experience teaching in a high‑school setting.
• Experience with, or familiarity with, Jesuit ideals.
• Hold at least a BA in English and/or Secondary Education; MA preferred.
