Assistant Professor, Accounting

For our client, we are seeking an Assistant Professor Accounting to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a mission-driven environment.

Location:

the company, CT - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $80,000 – $120,000 annually

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accounting
• Engage in quality research and publish findings
• Utilize innovative teaching methodologies and technology
• Participate in departmental and university service activities
• Contribute to curriculum development and assessment

• Near completion of a terminal degree in Accounting or related field
• Professional accounting certification required
• Demonstrated excellence in integrating technology in classroom settings
