• Provides information literacy instruction to first‑year composition classes.
• Leads instruction sessions in the library instruction lab.
• Communicates with assigned faculty to confirm scheduling and tailor lessons.
• Participates in planning and evaluation meetings to review lessons and identify improvements.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of library and university resources.
• Collaborates with teaching librarians.
• Performs additional duties as required by the supervisor and departmental or university needs.

• Graduate degree in Library & Information Science (MLS or equivalent) from an ALA‑accredited program.
• Demonstrated experience using varied techniques to engage learners.
• Prior experience providing instruction in an academic setting highly desirable.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

• Mobility required; must be able to lift materials off shelves.
• Some evening hours required.
