Red's Shift Supervisor works closely with the student staff to facilitate the nightly operation of Red's Pub. The Red's Shift Supervisor must have working knowledge of, and enforce, all Student Union, University, and State Policies, procedures, and laws. This role will involve significant interaction with all University community members, including students, faculty, staff, and University guests.
- Supervise the Nightly operation of Red's Pub:
- Ensure that all Student Union, University, and State policies and procedures are upheld.
- Coordinate the weekly scheduling of Red's Pub staff in conjunction with the Student Union.
- Oversee product and inventory.
- Assist in the coordination of training for all SUM and Pub staff members
- Contribute to innovation of Pub facilities, operations, and programming
- Promote staff morale and team dynamics
- Assist in the promotion and programming of the Pub
- Properly handle all Money and Sales receipts for the shift.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
- Possess knowledge of state laws
- Be responsible and professional individual
- Be positive and resourceful
- Possess strong verbal and writing skills
- Be creative, innovative, and detail-oriented
- Understand what it means to provide quality customer service
- Possess strong managerial skills
- Have previous restaurant experience (preferred but not required)
- Be willing to be a member of an energetic team
The Shift Supervisor will work from 4 pm until 12 am Monday through Thursday. The work location is Red's.
