What You'll Do:

• Teach in a truly personalized way — one student at a time.

• Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs.

• Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.

• Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.

• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture.

• Keep student recordsaccurateand organized.

• Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees, music certifications,or a teaching credential is a plus.

• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range ofmusiccourses(recording arts,music appreciation, music theory,bass, drums, guitar, keyboard,piano, songwriting, & vocals),following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.

• Experience with the tools and techniques associated with contemporary recording and music production: microphones, digital audio, audio editing, MIDI and virtual instruments, audio effects&processors, synthesis, sampling, and mixing.

• Proficiency with at least two of the three industry standard DAWs—Pro Tools, Logic,&Ableton Live.

• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.

• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.

• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.

• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
