Family Centered Clinician

$6000 Special Bonus

Provide In-Home Family Therapy to Children, Youth, and their families within their given catchment area, ensuring compliance with the In-Home Therapy Performance Specifications. Ensure proper Hub responsibilities when warranted, contributing to the ongoing training and oversight of the Therapeutic Training and Support staff and Therapeutic Mentors (TT&S/TMs) linked with his/her caseload.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Provide In-Home Family Therapy to identified youth and families within the given catchment area
  • Participate in Care Planning Teams for identified youth and families
  • Provide outreach counseling to youth
  • Consult with outside agencies, referral sources, and other professionals as necessary
  • Attend weekly supervision, staff meetings, and consultations as required
  • Follow the Medical Necessity Criteria, Performance Specifications, and Service Definitions for In-Home Family Therapy
  • Assist with developing and providing clinical supervision training programs TT&S/TMs.
  • Submit documentation and ensure it meets the Performance Specifications set forth by the state and is submitted timely
  • Outreach to community providers to develop and foster solid working relationships and awareness of CBHI services
  • Participate in Systems of Care meetings and other CBHI-related meetings (as assigned)
  • Respond to client emergencies as needed
  • Other duties as required
  • Adhere to provisions of M.G.L Chapter 119, Section 51A (Mandated Reporter); report all occurrences immediately to the clinic. Complete South Bay’s crisis reporting protocol as required, Mentor South Bay
  • Must be comfortable with many different electronic systems and procedures, learning new technology, etc
  • Must be willing to work afternoons and early evenings
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Education, Counseling Psychology, or Psychology, Social Worker or some other related degree is required.
  • 1 year of experience working with Children and youth required.
  • A valid driver’s license in good standing and a reliable vehicle is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills,
  • Be a self-started
  • Experience with electronic health records a plus.

FCC candidates must now be licensed eligible.

Moving forward, all IHT candidates will need to have completed a 60 credit program with a full internship who may be able to obtain a LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LADC1, or LMFT.
