CMS Therapy Group is looking for a dynamic, caring, and self‑motivated licensed psychiatric APRN to bring their talent and skill set to our growing private practice. This is a flexible, part‑time (5 – 10 hrs/wk) position with W2 commission‑based compensation. The ideal applicant will have 5+ years of experience working in an outpatient setting within the mental health field, treating patients ranging in age from 5 to 65.
This person would be responsible for diagnostic assessments, patient care planning, prescribing, and working collaboratively with the practice's therapists, and completing all necessary clinical documentation. - Complete diagnostic mental health assessment of patients
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop a patient care plan
- Prescribe psychotropic medications
- Provide psychiatric counseling and education to patients and/or their families
- Collaborate with internal and external providers on cases as needed
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records in the EHR system
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing
- Unrestricted APRN license in CT
- National Board Certification
- CT Controlled Substance license
- Federal DEA registration
- 5+ years of experience working in an outpatient mental health / behavioral health setting WITH CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS
- $100 - $150 hourly
