White Birch is a women clinician-owned and operated small business based in New Hampshire. We partner with school districts to provide comprehensive support to children through services such as school psychology, mental health and social work, behavior analysis (BCBAs), speech-language pathology, special education, paraprofessional support, and other related services.
The BCBA provides behavior analysis services and behavior management consultation and plans for students, provides support and professional learning in appropriate behavior intervention techniques, conducts assessments and develops plans that conform to state and federal code.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Job duties for this role are mainly performed at the assigned work site.
- Plans, prepares and delivers treatments/interventions, including consultation and follow-up services to students with special needs or behavioral difficulties.
- Monitors and records student progress on an ongoing basis.
- Writes assessments for evaluations and assessments conducted and provides to relevant personnel.
- Provides BCBA services for students as specified in IEPs or referred by building staff or administration.
- Creates and assists school staff with the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans.
- Creates and modifies treatment plans for each child on caseload as needed.
- Conducts functional behavior analysis assessments.
- Works collaboratively with teachers and parents involved in the education of the students.
- Provides written documentation as required. Lesson plans, IEPs, progress reports, goals and objectives, etc.
- Provides teachers with classroom modifications and strategies to facilitate student success.
- Participates in staff in-service education programs and attends WBES required meetings and trainings.
- Complies with all departmental policies and procedures including timely submissions of schedules, logs and other reporting.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Minimum of Master’s degree and certification in ABA.
- Certified with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board.
- Must maintain credentialing in compliance with BACB.
