As a Mental Health Therapist, you’ll bring your clinical expertise to a supportive, team-based environment that prioritizes people, purpose, and quality care. You will provide counseling services using a range of therapeutic approaches, including psycho-educational and medical/illness-based assessment and diagnostic models.

• Provide counseling for individuals and families using a variety of therapeutic approaches.
• Support clients dealing with emotional or behavioral concerns, life stressors, parenting skills, and relationship concerns.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments to develop treatment plans and identify individual strengths.
• Deliver individual therapy, family therapy, and/or group sessions tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement treatment plans.
• Ensure adherence to license board code of ethics.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and service summaries.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and professional development opportunities.
• Contribute to crisis intervention efforts when needed.

Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree in a human services field (counseling, social work, family therapy).
• Two years of experience.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• LCSW, LPC, LPCC, or similar licensure required.

Other

Skills and Abilities:

• Training/certifications in one or more of the following areas is desired: PCIT, CPP, EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, Trauma-Informed play therapy, and Child-Centered Play Therapy.

• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to empathize and establish trust and rapport with a variety of clients.
• Ability to maintain composure and exercise sound judgment and discretion.

Physical Requirements:

• Medium Work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
