  • Scheduling and Clerical duties: process referrals, collect patient demographics and insurance data, obtain necessary authorizations, ensure labs and imaging are scheduled, and schedule new and follow-up appointments as directed by the physician.
  • Clinic and Patient care: help ensure physician time is efficient by generating clinic templates, recording patient history, performing pre-registration calls, obtaining clinical history, and assisting with notes during examinations; perform room preparation and turnover.
  • Minor surgical procedural care: assist with vascular and spinal interventional procedures, prepare sterile fields and instruments, support RNs/RTs/scrub techs, provide supplies, clean and disinfect rooms, monitor pre/post-op patients, and maintain clean, sanitized areas.
  • Surgical Scrubbing: serve as the second assistant during endovascular procedures and progress to primary assistant as appropriate.
