Our Care of Connecticut is hiring Homemakers and Companions in New Fairfield CT.

Our Care is a registered Homemaker Companion Agency in Connecticut dedicated to helping seniors and individuals with disabilities live independently and comfortably in their own homes. Our compassionate caregivers provide non-medical support, companionship, and household assistance to improve quality of life and bring peace of mind to families. The Homemaker/Companion plays a vital role in enhancing wellbeing for individuals in need of support within their homes.

This position involves providing companionship, assistance with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in a caregiving or companion role
• Reliable, trustworthy and compassionate

• Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, cleaning)
• Running errands, grocery shopping, and accompanying clients to appointments or social activities
• Monitoring client’s safety and reporting any concerns to agency and/or family
• Encourage client independence while providing supportive presence

• Competitive salary - $17 per hour or higher
