Beacon Engineering Resources is seeking a driven, resourceful Technical Recruiter to identify, engage, and place engineering and technical professionals across a variety of client programs. This role is ideal for someone who is competitive, organized, relationship-oriented, and excited about building a long-term career in technical staffing.
This is not a transactional recruiting role. Recruiters at Beacon operate as talent consultants, partnering closely with both candidates and client stakeholders to ensure strong technical and cultural alignment.
Responsibilities- Source, screen, and evaluate engineering and technical candidates for contract and direct-hire roles
- Conduct in-depth phone and video interviews to assess technical skills, communication style, and overall fit
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of candidates across multiple engineering disciplines
- Develop creative sourcing strategies beyond traditional job boards
- Coordinate interview processes and manage candidate communications from initial outreach through placement
- Perform reference checks and verify candidate qualifications
- Collaborate with internal team members on candidate strategy and client alignment
- Track activity and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate documentation within the applicant tracking system
- 0–3 years of recruiting, staffing, sales, or client-facing experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented mindset
- Engineering or technical industry exposure is a plus, but not required.
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission structure
