The Marketing Science Engagement Analyst Lead is an analytics role focused on driving data-informed decision making across marketing and media initiatives.
This position serves as a subject matter expert in measurement, experimentation, and performance analysis, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. The role combines hands‑on analytics work with team leadership, client or stakeholder engagement, and strategic consultation throughout the full campaign lifecycle. The position is in office 4 days per week and will be based in Boise, Idaho, Pleasanton CA or Chicago, IL.

- Lead end-to-end measurement and reporting across campaign life cycles, from planning through insights.
- Design and apply methodologies for incrementally, attribution, and ROI analysis.
- Guide audience targeting strategy and post-campaign performance evaluation.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality assurance, and consistency across all analyses.
- Manage and mentor analysts, setting priorities and reviewing deliverables for quality and clarity.
- Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and client or account teams.
- Act as a measurement subject matter expert, translating complex analysis into clear, actionable insights.
- Develop and present data stories in compelling, decision‑ready formats.
- Strong statistical foundation, including experimentation, regression, and causal inference.
- Strong SQL and Excel proficiency; experience with Python or R.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Knowledge of marketing measurement, media analytics, or ecommerce/retail data.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
- 5–7 years of analytics or marketing science experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
