We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Staff Auditor to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced fintech industry. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of IT controls, systems, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safeguard organizational assets. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify risks, recommend solutions, and support a culture of continuous improvement in technology governance.
What you’ll do:- Conduct IT audits focusing on security, data integrity, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Assess internal controls and recommend enhancements to mitigate risks.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports for management review.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and regulatory requirements impacting fintech operations.
- 2+ years of experience of IT audit methodologies and frameworks including COBIT, NIST, COSO, and FFIEC.
- Solid knowledge of audit processes, methods, and best practices.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including Power Query/Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint for reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field and/or equivalent military experience.
- Experience working in larger audit environments handling various audit areas and degrees of complexity.
- Hands‑on experience with statistical sampling, audit sample selection, and evidence validation techniques.
- Experience with regulatory compliance standards like FFIEC, NIST, COBIT, or PCI DSS.
- Experience in data analysis, data visualization, mathematics, statistical data mining, and data science.
- CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CFE, CRMA, or other applicable professional certifications, or a desire to pursue a certification.
- Prior experience in payments or financial‑services technology environments.
- This role is on‑site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in‑person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in‑person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- Approximately 5% travel off‑site or to other office locations is expected.
