Innoculated Farms is a BIPOC- and woman-led mushroom farm and distribution venture transforming food systems through equity, sustainability, and innovation. Beyond growing mushrooms, we are building AI-powered tools that empower BIPOC farmers, expand market access, and scale food justice.

We are seeking AI Innovation Interns to help design, prototype, and deploy custom AI tools. This role covers three interconnected tracks—interns may focus on one or contribute across all, depending on skills and interests:

• Agentic AI Developer → Build custom GPTs from scratch
  , experimenting with prompt engineering, workflows, and integrations.
• Applied AI Systems → Translate real-world business challenges (funding pipelines, sales, education) into AI-enabled solutions

• AI Architect → Design long-term frameworks and documentation so Innoculated and partner farms can scale these tools sustainably.

• Prototype AI assistants tailored to Innoculated’s needs (grant research, procurement, marketing, education).
• Collaborate with farmers, fundraisers, and chefs to identify high-impact use cases.
• Test, document, and refine AI systems for usability and scalability.
• Contribute creative problem-solving that aligns AI development with equity-driven food system change.

• Hands-on experience at the cutting edge of AI + social impact.
• Portfolio projects demonstrating AI applied to sustainability, entrepreneurship, and agriculture.
• Mentorship in food justice and cooperative business.
