Description
BNP Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly capable, hands‑on IT Manager to lead and continuously improve the company’s internal IT operations, infrastructure, and security posture. This role is ideal for a technically strong IT professional who is comfortable operating in a lean environment where leadership, strategic planning, and direct technical execution are equally important. BNP Associates is part of BNP Group, which has more than 200 employees across four operating companies and 22 offices worldwide.
It operates a modern, cloud‑first IT environment built on Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra , and other SaaS platforms. The IT Manager will be a key technical leader for BNP Group, overseeing daily IT operations, user support, Microsoft 365 administration, cybersecurity, endpoint management, infrastructure reliability, vendor coordination, and long‑term planning. This is an active operational role requiring strong troubleshooting ability, sound decision‑making, clear communication, and the ability to independently manage and prioritize a broad range of responsibilities.
Success in this role will be measured by system reliability, user satisfaction, security maturity, operational efficiency, and the ability to scale IT systems and processes as the company grows.
- Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement — Build and maintain an IT roadmap aligned with company growth and operational needs. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance reliability, security, productivity, and scalability.
- IT Policy, Compliance & Business Continuity — Develop and maintain practical IT policies covering acceptable use, onboarding/offboarding, data protection, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Coordinate with HR, Finance, Legal, and leadership to ensure operational alignment and compliance.
- Microsoft 365 & Cloud Platform Administration — Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, One Drive, Intune, and Entra e user provisioning, licensing, conditional access policies, MFA, device enrollment, endpoint compliance, permissions, and collaboration governance.
- IT Operations & Service Delivery — Manage daily IT operations to ensure reliable system performance, infrastructure stability, and responsive end‑user support. Act as the primary escalation point for technical issues, establish support standards, improve processes, and proactively prevent recurring issues.
- Identity, Access & Security Management — Own identity and access management processes. Maintain secure authentication standards including MFA, conditional access, endpoint security, email protection, and privileged access management. Coordinate incident response and implement corrective actions.
- Endpoint & Device Management — Manage the full lifecycle of company devices, including provisioning, configuration, patching, compliance, inventory, and hardware refresh planning. Administer endpoint management platforms and support office and remote workforce environments.
- Network & Infrastructure Management — Oversee connectivity, firewalls, switches, VPNs, wireless infrastructure, internet connectivity, and cloud‑managed networking. Ensure performance, reliability, and security standards.
- SharePoint, Teams & Collaboration Governance — Manage governance of collaboration platforms, including structure, permissions, external sharing, retention, and user access policies.
- IT Project Management & Change Control — Lead IT projects from planning through implementation, coordinating with leadership, vendors, and stakeholders.
- AI Governance & Enablement — Support the company’s use of AI tools by establishing governance, security standards, and productivity workflows.
- Vendor & Contract Management — Manage relationships with IT vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Documentation & Process Improvement — Maintain accurate technical documentation and drive process improvement initiatives.
