A boutique PR agency and recognized leader in the food, beverage, and hospitality industries is seeking a talented Publicist to join our team. One year of agency experience or a PR internship is preferred; however, we will also consider candidates with exceptional creative writing skills, a strong work ethic, and a genuine eagerness to learn. • A bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, or related fields
• Experience in the hospitality industry (restaurants, chefs, hotels) a plus
• Knowledge of food & beverage, hospitality media a plus
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written (creative writing a must)
• Creativity, passion, and enthusiasm
• Social media savvy
• Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and multitask, and work well under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Work independently and result oriented
• Excellent work ethic and reliability

• Draft press releases and develop compelling, innovative media pitches
• Consistently support efforts to secure media placements across digital, print, and broadcast outlets.
• Assist in managing clients’ day-to-day media and administrative activities, collaborating closely with account managers to execute creative, strategic PR initiatives, while maintaining strong client relations.
