Pay Range: $150,000-$190,000 Per Year

Description
  • Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time position in a fast-paced outpatient urgent care setting.
  • This role is based in Fairfield County, CT & New Haven, CT, offering a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts.
  • The position requires proficiency in handling a variety of acute illnesses and injuries, with a focus on patient-centered care and collaboration with a clinical team.
Requirements
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments including medical histories and physical exams.
  • Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications.

    Conduct office-based procedures like wound repair and splinting.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab studies and X-rays.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
  • Collaborate with clinical team for efficient patient care.
Qualifications
  • Current NP (ANCC or AANP) or PA (NCCPA) certification.
  • Active NP or PA license in good standing.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in urgent care or similar setting.
  • Experience with urgent care procedures like suturing and splinting.
  • Strong clinical judgment and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
  • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
