- Travel assignment managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC
- Deliver total patient care in the ER using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs.
- Direct and guide patient teaching and the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
- Triage, monitor, and stabilize patients; administer medications and therapies per physician orders; document care accurately.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient education for diverse populations.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality improvement practices; ensure accurate documentation in the medical record.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Iowa RN license.
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required.
- Experience in ER nursing preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a high-acuity ER within a rural Critical Access Hospital setting.
