Registered Nurse, ER - Fairfield, Iowa, United States. Start date 09/11/2026. 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay between $2,202 and $2,412. Shift schedule: 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Friday through Sunday. This position is in a Critical Access Hospital setting and involves travel nursing for a temporary assignment.

• Deliver total patient care in the ER using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs.
• Direct and guide patient teaching and the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
• Triage, monitor, and stabilize patients; administer medications and therapies per physician orders; document care accurately.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient education for diverse populations.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality improvement practices; ensure accurate documentation in the medical record.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required.
• Experience in ER nursing preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a high-acuity ER within a rural Critical Access Hospital setting.
