Location: Southport
The Senior Account Specialist drives sales and increases revenue in the Upstate NY/Connecticut territory and surrounding areas by:
- Building and executing a sales strategy for the assigned territory/customer base.
- Territory penetration, call planning, time management, and accurate forecasting.
- Increasing utilization through product demonstrations, customer training, and education on indications, contradictions, and safety.
- Executing launch installation action plans; leveraging reward programs/enrollment tools to drive consumable usage.
- Coordinating user meetings and intro workshops; supporting trade shows/workshops.
- Developing and maintaining key relationships; identifying new customers and growing existing accounts; preparing business evaluations/reviews.
- Becoming a subject matter expert on the industry and competitive products.
- Collaborating with surgical/non-surgical specialists, marketing, and clinical counterparts.
- Generating leads and cross-selling opportunities for Capital Equipment Specialists.
- Preparing sales contracts (terms, quotes, pricing).
- Managing administrative tasks (quarterly business plans, account profiles/customer database, expense reports).
- Building customer loyalty through superior customer service and maximizing customer contact.
- High school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum 2 years B2B sales experience.
- Experience selling consumables/medical products to plastic surgeons or dermatologists in an FDA-regulated environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, surgical techniques, and procedures.
- Strong selling skills; ability to understand/communicate product attributes; planning/organization; ability to influence and close.
- Effective written and oral communication; ability to present clinical/technical information to providers and groups.
- Valid driver’s license; clean driving record.
- Travel ~75% of the time; occasional weekends; ability to transport up to 60 lbs.
- Technical acumen to use software and basic hardware.
- Starting base pay range: $90K–$120K; eligible for annual bonus and/or sales incentive.
