Requisition

Role focuses on maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, visitors and property through vigilant monitoring of access points, regular patrols, emergency response, and enforcement of community policies to protect assets and confidential information.

• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify visitors, and ensure authorized access.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking areas and grounds.
• Monitor surveillance systems, fire alarms, and security equipment, ensuring proper operation.
• Respond swiftly to fire alarms, environmental control alerts, and other emergencies following established protocols to safeguard people and property.
• Document and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches.
• Provide first aid or emergency response when necessary, following established procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Basic knowledge of fire safety procedures and emergency response.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and remain alert during extended shifts.
• Proficiency in using radio communication devices and access control systems.

• Previous experience working as a security guard in a healthcare or social assistance setting.
• Training in wireless technology applications related to security operations.
• Familiarity with environmental control systems within healthcare facilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse populations.
