Assistant Home Improvement Technician
Tru Blue Home Service Ally is a national franchise with over 120 locations providing trusted home repairs, safety upgrades, and remodeling services — helping seniors age in place and supporting busy families. This is a role for someone ready to grow their trade skills in a professional, team-first environment where your work genuinely makes a difference.
What You'll Do- Assist experienced technicians on home repair and remodeling projects across multiple trades
- Support work in carpentry, drywall repair and patching, interior and exterior painting, flooring installation, tile work, and bathroom and kitchen upgrades
- Prep work areas, organize materials, and handle clean‑up to keep projects running smoothly
- Assist with senior safety and home accessibility modifications
- Learn to communicate professionally with customers on site and represent Tru Blue's standards of safety, accuracy, and quality on every project
- Dependable, respectful, and genuinely eager to grow in the trades
- Some hands‑on experience in home repair, construction, or a related trade (1–2 years preferred)
- Familiar with basic hand and power tools; working toward or already building your own tool set
- Comfortable taking direction, working as part of a team, and adapting across different project types
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- W2 employment with consistent hours and steady work
- On‑the‑job training from experienced Home Improvement Technicians
