**** Position:
** Graduate Assistant Field Hockey Coach Fairfield University is currently seeking a graduate assistant field hockey coach.  In keeping with the University’s Jesuit mission and identity, candidates must be committed to the equity, welfare, and sporting conduct of our student-athletes.  The graduate assistant coach will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all areas of program development and operations, supporting a competitive NCAA Division I field hockey program.
** Responsibilities:
*** Serve as an assistant coach for the field hockey program
* Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of practices
* Contribute to game preparation, scouting, and film analysis
* Support recruiting efforts, including prospect evaluation, communication, and organization of recruiting data
* Provide administrative support related to team travel and daily program operations
* Assist with purchasing, accounts payable processes, and budget-related tasks
* Assist with equipment and apparel ordering, inventory, and management
* Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Assistant Coach

* Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree required
* Collegiate field hockey playing and/or coaching experience
* Knowledgeable of and committed to following Fairfield University, NCAA, and Coastal Athletic Conference (CAA) rules and guidelines
* Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic
* Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Preferred, but not required:

Experience with video analysis technology (e.g. Spiideo)

* Reports to:

** Head Field Hockey Coach This position includes a stipend of **$12,000**, in addition to
** tuition remission for up to 18 credits per year**. The appointment is a one- or two-year commitment, depending on the selected graduate program. Additional income opportunities may be available through summer camps.
