Basketball season in Southeast Iowa is electric — and we need a voice behind the mic to bring the action to life. Ottumwa Radio Group is seeking a Part-Time Play-by-Play Announcer for Fairfield Boys & Girls Basketball broadcasts streamed live on the Ottumwa Radio You Tube Channel. If you can paint the picture of a fast break, buzzer beater, or packed rivalry game with excitement and professionalism, this could be your shot.

• Broadcast live Fairfield Boys & Girls Basketball games
• Deliver energetic and accurate play-by-play commentary
• Research teams, players, and storylines before broadcasts
• Coordinate with broadcast staff during live events
• Maintain professionalism on-air and in the community
• Engage listeners and create an entertaining broadcast experience

• Knowledge of basketball rules and flow of the game
• Clear and confident speaking ability
• Ability to stay composed during live broadcasts
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable transportation and scheduling flexibility
• Previous broadcasting or announcing experience preferred, but not required

• $50 per game plus mileage reimbursement
