Principal Consultant
Required Skills & Experience- 8+ years of IT consulting experience leading complex enterprise application implementations from strategy through deployment.
- Experience implementing enterprise platforms at scale (ERP, PLM, HCM, or similar);
Oracle experience preferred but not required. - Proven ability to manage executive stakeholders and client relationships, building trust and driving successful outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills in ambiguous environments, with the ability to develop strategy, make decisions, and own results.
- Manufacturing industry experience required; food and beverage industry experience preferred.
- Nice to Have Skills & Experience Oracle PLM, Oracle Cloud ERP/SCM, or Oracle Integration Cloud experience Oracle Redwood UI familiarity Data governance/migration experience (FBDI/ADFdi or equivalent) SAP integration design for mixed-landscape client environments Experience with Oracle EBS and transition to Oracle Fusion Cloud Published thought leadership or Oracle partner contributions
Job Description:
The Principal Consultant is the highest individual contributor career level within the Digital Consulting practice. This role sets the standard for functional excellence, client relationship management, and delivery leadership across the organization. The Principal Consultant owns the full engagement lifecycle for the most complex implementations, from presales through go-live and hypercare, and serves as the primary escalation point for delivery risk across the consulting team.
This position requires deep product expertise, a strong executive presence, and sound commercial judgment. Principal Consultants drive practice development, mentor senior consulting staff, and are recognized industry authorities in F4
PLM and Oracle Cloud PLM solutions within the food and beverage sector. Salary Range dependent on experience is $180,000 to $190,000 with additional bonus structure.
Core Responsibilities:
Engagement & Delivery Leadership Lead complex implementations from presales through go-live and hypercare. Own project scope, budget, quality, and client satisfaction. Manage cross-functional teams and mitigate delivery risks. Presales & Commercial Leadership Lead client demos, discovery sessions, and solution workshops. Develop project estimates, implementation plans, and SOW reviews. Identify expansion opportunities and additional service offerings. Client & Executive Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary executive-facing client advisor.
Lead steering committees and communicate project status, risks, and outcomes. Navigate scope, budget, and timeline discussions with senior stakeholders. Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership Provide solution leadership across Oracle Cloud PLM and F4
PLM. Define integration strategies and system architecture. Advise clients on scalable, supportable customization and extension approaches. Practice Development & Mentorship Establish delivery standards and best practices. Mentor senior consultants and develop future leaders. Contribute to methodology improvements, workforce planning, and practice growth.
