** Job Summary
** The IT Operations Internship provides hands-on experience supporting the technology services and platforms Cambridge associates rely on every day. Three interns will be placed within Service Desk, Infrastructure Operations, or Production Support/Application Operations based on candidate interests, skills, and business needs. Across all focus areas, interns will build practical experience in troubleshooting, service management, documentation, reporting, operational improvement, and collaboration within an enterprise technology environment.#

** Key Deliverables and Responsibilities
*** Contribute to day-to-day technology operations and a defined improvement project while working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Analyze service or operational trends, maintain clear documentation, and recommend practical improvements that strengthen reliability, efficiency, or the user experience.
* Use enterprise technology, service-management, collaboration, reporting, and knowledge-management tools appropriate to the assigned focus area.
* Communicate progress and technical findings clearly, manage assigned priorities, and take increasing ownership with guidance from experienced Technology professionals.  ## Differentiated Focus Areas  
** Service Desk:
** Provide customer-focused technical support by phone, chat, email, and in person; troubleshoot common account, Microsoft 365, Windows, peripheral, and virtual-desktop issues; assist with tickets, device setup, onboarding, knowledge articles, and self-service resources.  
** Infrastructure Operations:
** Support infrastructure health, reliability, capacity and lifecycle reviews, recurring-issue analysis, inventory or configuration validation, testing, service metrics, preventive-maintenance workflows, and standard operating procedures.  
** Production Support / Application Operations:
** Support application monitoring and observability, incident and service-delivery processes, operational dashboards and reporting, certificate lifecycle activities, support documentation, workflow optimization, and automation opportunities.  #
** What We Are Looking For
*** Current undergraduate student pursuing Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Network or Systems Administration, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, or a related technology program.
* Basic understanding of information technology concepts and interest in enterprise support, infrastructure, applications, service management, automation, or operational reporting.
* Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
* Clear written and verbal communication, a service mindset, dependable follow-through, and the ability to collaborate with users and team members of varying technical backgrounds.
* Curiosity, initiative, willingness to ask questions, and comfort learning new technologies; prior help-desk or enterprise IT experience is not required.
