Emergency Room Nurse Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in critical conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, triaging, and treating patients in the emergency room setting, while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities and Duties

Assessing and triaging patients based on their condition and severity.

Administering medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians.

Monitoring and managing patient vital signs.

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

Providing education and support to patients and their families.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.

Participating in continuous training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

Valid RN license in the state of practice.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency room or critical care nursing.

BLS and ACLS certifications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Knowledge of emergency room protocols and procedures.
