• Plan, provide, and evaluate total patient care using the nursing process for medical-surgical patients
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor patient responses and safety
• Educate patients and families, support discharge planning, and promote patient understanding of care plans
• Supervise and delegate to support staff as appropriate while maintaining professional nursing standards
• Document care clearly and accurately in the medical record; uphold infection control and patient safety practices

• Current Iowa RN license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS required through the American Heart Association
• Experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to perform 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting
• Eligible for employment in the United States for a travel assignment
