Creates a professional office image by providing superior customer service while effectively assisting the medical providers in the care and treatment of patients, and by working cooperatively with other staff members to promote a smooth flow of work within the office. Performs assigned procedures and duties within the scope of practice as set forth by the Iowa State Board of Nursing.

Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current Iowa RN license
• BCLS required
• Experience in a physician's office preferred

Hours:

Full-time days:
Monday-Tuesday, 7a-5p, Wed. OFF, Thursday, 7a-5p, Friday 7a-4p

Pay period:
Monday through Sunday.

• Two recent employment references
• Online verification of licensure or certification to include expiration date and any disciplinary actions within 30 days of start date
• BLS required through American Heart Association - Copy of both sides of the card
• Immunizations to include:
• MMR (Mumps, Rubeola & Rubella) either 2 doses or Positive Titers
• Varicella-positive titer or 2 Varicella Vaccines
• Polio
• Hepatitis B Series, titer or signed declination
• Current TDaP – Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (dated within 10 years of start)
• Flu vaccination required during Flu Season (Oct 1st – March 31st)
• Negative 2-step Mantoux within 1 year of start or QuantiFERON Gold within 1 year of start
• If Positive, must provide proof of positive & chest x-ray results
• Proof of physical within 1 year of start date
• 10 Panel Drug Screen within 1 month of start date
• Respiratory Fit Test within 1 year of start date (we can provide RFT if not available)
• Criminal Background (All states where they hold a professional license and have lived/worked in the past 7 years) within 30 days of start date
• National &/or State Sex Offender GSA(EPLS) Sam.gov within 30 days of start date
• OIG-Date within 30 days of start date
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates (Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse)
• Completion of Care Learning education modules (further instructions will be provided by JCHC) Mandatory Reporter will be added to modules if the candidate is not certified. Must have completed prior to start.
