This clinic-focused RN role supports ambulatory care providers in a hospital-based clinic environment. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a guaranteed 36 hours per week on a daytime schedule.

  Clinic-based nursing within a critical access hospital

• Deliver direct patient care in the clinic setting, including triage, vitals, and routine assessments
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, injections, wound care, and medication administration as ordered
• Prepare exam rooms, collect specimens, and manage clinic flow to support efficient operations
• Document patient encounters accurately in the medical record and ensure patient privacy and safety
• Collaborate with the health care team to coordinate care, follow clinic protocols, and uphold infection control standards

• Current Iowa RN license (active)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BCLS (Basic Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Experience in a physician’s office or clinic setting is preferred
• Ability to perform clinic-based nursing duties within the scope of practice defined by the Iowa State Board of Nursing
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
