Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

$2325.60/week –

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients presenting with a variety of urgent and critical health issues. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver fast, efficient, and high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions rapidly upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Implement established nursing care plans, including administering medications and treatments.
• Monitor patient status continuously, recognizing signs of deterioration and initiating appropriate interventions.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Document patient information accurately in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and ancillary staff to ensure timely and effective patient care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current Iowa RN license.
• Hold valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (American Heart Association preferred).
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Preferably have previous emergency room nursing experience, but new graduates with relevant clinical training will be considered.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced settings and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
